About Hot Platters:

Hot Platters was started in the late 70's by Ed Odel, a.k.a. Edweirdo. He's my brother, and I became Web Master when we put Hot Platters on line on June 12, 1995. Ancient history in web years.

Edweirdo is happiest while rummaging through a box of records in a dusty attic or damp basement. His greatest joy is to discover some rare or ridiculous LP that the many Vinyl Heads who frequent the pages of Hot Platters and other music related sites dream of finding.

Edweirdo (that means, Hot Platters......) prides himself in offering the most accurate vinyl descriptions and ratings of any cyber record shop, and by sending out orders with only the most careful handling and shipping. He even guarantees his work!

On the other hand, I love my Mac, Netscape, Adobe, and Macromedia. MY happiest moments are when we receive Email from a Hot Platter fan who compliments the site or offers helpful suggestions. Check out our Testimonials!
