Thanks for such speedy service! As usual your product is as good as your
website ratings. I just received Look Sharp- Joe Jackson, and Big Science -
Laurie Anderson, and both are in great condition. I look forward to more
music hunting with you in the future.

Take care,

Good Day,

I just wanted 2 say THANKS 4 everything. I received
the 12" Orion record 2day, in perfect condition.

This means a lot 2 me because I'm a DJ who was buying
a lot of this type of music and my original copy of
this record got mutalated/scratched big time. Now I
have it again (10 years later) and I'm just stoked!

THANKS A LOT!

Hello Ed and Julie;

I want to thank you both, for your
acknowledgment. You undoubtedly know how to run a
business, like professionals. I will E-mail you when I
receive the LP, and also leave you some feedback on
your file. I've taken a look at your web site, and was
really impressed by it's content. Keep up the good
work, cause people keep coming back, when they get
good service. And I know you both do a good job of
delivering that. Thanks again,

Sincerely;

Hello Julie,

you want to speak some more german? No problem,
just come by for a year or two and Ill give you some german-lessons right
here in the old world ;-)
I deeply impressed, that you speak so many languages! I must appologise for
only speaking a little
english and the good old local cologne-accent - but it is almost an language
itself (for most noncologne-people)...

Today I`ve got my parcel from you and everything is absolutely superb!
You really grade the records in an objective manner and I love it when
mailorder record dealers are honest with that.
So I will dig through your catalogue in the near future and bid on much more
items!

Please ask Ed if it is possible to find out which of the radio-spot 7"es are
still available, I just explored a new field of collecting with them! It would help very much if you could let
me know what is still availabe.
Im especially interessted in the following items:

BUSCH BAVARIAN SONG * 3 SONGS,4 COMM-
DEMON SEED * VG 5 SPOTS UA
DIRTY GAME * VG+ AIP
DISCO 9OOO * 5 SPOTS VG+ CHOICE INC.
THE DRIVER * 3 SPOTS 2OTH CENT.FOX
EXIT THE DRAGON * 2 SPOTS DIMENSION
I LOVE MY TEETH *D.FARGO,SISTER SLEDGE
IN COLD BLOOD * A&B 7 SPOTS COLUMBIA
SCREAMING TIGER * AIP
3 TOUGH GUYS * W/CUSTOM MAILER PARA.

Thank you very much for your time,

I want to thank you for the thoughtful and careful way you packaged
my album and the express mailing of it. I was so please with the album
itself. It was everything you promised it would be. It felt like
Christmas all over again when it arrived at my door. Thank you for
making this hard to find album available to me. I assure you it will be
cherished for a life time, and then some. Thanks again.

very, very, pleased. I been after this one for nearly 30 years !
Record in excellent condition. Your grading system is modest as others I've bought from would have put it at M-. I had the mono version of this specially imported to the U.K. in 1965 and had always regretted it was not stereo as it sounds so much better in Stereo.

Thanks once again
Will not hestitate to recommend you or order again

Hi Ed,

Just a note to confirm that the songbook has been received. It must be
great to have a business that makes money and also gives a cheap thrill to
people all over the country! I can't tell you how tickled I am to find this
obscure object that I'd given up on long ago...

I don't know if you do wish lists, but if so, I'm looking for sealed (or
mint condition) copies of three LPs by Buffy Sainte-Marie:

1) "Buffy" MCA Records 1974
2) "Eagle Man/Changing Woman MCA Records 1975(approx)
3) "Sweet America" ABC Records 1977 (approx)

and please remember that I have very little money... !

Just a little anecdote for you, I've been searching the net for these items.
A site in Seattle (I think) claimed "huge searchable database". However,
when you went to the home page, there was a single page of old comedy
albums... so I sent a note w/wish list and also advising that something was
wrong at their site, because I couldn't navigate or find anything other than
the one page. I received an amazingly rude reply, explaining that there IS
only one page because the webmaster "doesn't like to type"... and
furthermore didn't want any of my money. Go figure! Anyway, that is the
competition... so your site is 1000% better than those blankety-blank
blankers.

Keep up the good work!

Okay thanks. And by the way, I've bought a few things from Hot
Platters over the past few years and people there have been very nice
and helpful. The prices are great too. I saw that same exact Barnes &
Barnes record for sale somewhere else for more than twice as much as
what you were selling it for. I was about to get it, but I thought first
I'd check to see if you had it cheaper, and you did!

Thanks!

Dear Ed!

I guess you have had a busy time! You were my first internet record buying experience and that memory will always last - I still check out your site daily for your 45rpm update, you always have something that I didn't know I wanted!

But boy, my old Phillips Valve-O-Gram is hungry for some of your new hot wax from your exotic platter feast-like spread! Although my long suffering girlfriend still can't work out why one more record makes a difference!?

I even stooped to buying from Australia!

I look at the empty hotplatter boxes on my shelf and wish they were full of beautiful beat-stomping vinyl biscuits that I had never met before.

I hope all is well and look forward to your next auction. British summer time is here! Guess what - it rained! I'm off to do some dancing now, a friend of mine is spinning some wax tonight in an Edinburgh venue. I must remember to polish the soles of my twisting twine-time pointy shoes!

Happy Easter, I've missed you!

My name is Phillip Anderson and I e-mailed you yesterday, April 17 about
an album (The Cyrkle/Red Rubber Ball) which I had not received.
Well, I received it today (April 18). Please disregard my previous
e-mail. The album was exactly what I had hoped for. Thank you very
much and you can expect more bids from me in the future.

A satisfied customer.

Hi Ed:

Just wanted to thank you very much for the albums that I received a few

weeks ago. They were great, in great shape, and the jackets, particularly

those of the Webley Edwards albums, were in better shape than one would

reasonably hope for. Terrific!!

Thanks again, I'll keep your service in mind when I'm searching for

particular LPs!

Tom

BTW, do you sell those protective vinyl jacket covers? They're great!

Hi Ed,

My apologies for being so very late on this but I wanted to thank you

for getting the album to me and helping me when I thought it was lost. It

acutally arrived just on time for the birthday and we were *very* pleased with

the condition it was in!

Best of luck to you and your company - hope I find even more!!!

Hello! Yesterday I received the order I placed with you, and I am

absolutely ECSTATIC! Everything arrived in spectacular condition, and I'm

amazed at how "mint" everything was! I have ordered from some other

on-line vinyl stores, but the things I got were less than they claimed,

which made me a bit wary of what to expect from you. But I am extremely

happy and satisfied, and I will definitely place more orders in the future!

Again, thank you very much!

Hi Julie,

...I decided that if I am going to get one, Ed is the best place to get it because I know the product that he sells is just what he put down as quality. I am hoping for a sealed one but will take both if he can find two. How is that for a switch. Well, dreaming I guess.

Thanks Julie and hope to hear from you about the album soon. Take care of you.

Dear Ed (& all),

I'm using this note to reply---and to order! I checked your new site last night and it looks very good. I like how you kept your main logo (chef) and also your menu but made it obvious that things had been revised and updated. One other thing that I've never seen anyone do (that I think is a great idea) is to list various artists albums by label! Makes it much easier and informative. Anyway, I know you've worked really hard on this and I wanted to let you know---"I did return!"

All for now but I'll be back. Congrats again and, of course, best wishes,

Nigel Swope

Thanks, from Ed at Hot Platters
